BLOG 63 HURT FEELINGS THINK ABOUT THIS: Jesus told me that when we get our “FEELINGS” hurt because someone does us wrong; it’s pride! Even though, we were not in the wrong; it is still pride! That is what happened to me at a church, and I cried all weekend. Our thoughts are: “I didn’t do anything wrong why do I deserve to be treated this way?” What wrongs did Jesus do, to be treated so badly? If He was persecuted, so will we. John 15:20 I kept saying to Jesus, “but I didn’t anything wrong; I am the innocent party here.” He knows everything so He already knew what had happened to me. He just gently told me that I was in pride because I got my feelings hurt. It was a great lesson for me to learn. Pride cloaks (hides) itself in/with feelings. Feelings are one of those five senses that the devil uses to get to us (see, hear, smell, taste & feel). Pride says: “Look at me!” Pride wants to make something more out of the wrong doing! See 1Corinthians 13:4-6. Satan fell because of pride, and if he can get us operating in pride, he can make us fall, too. Isaiah 14:12-15 Jesus said. “Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41,Mark 14:38 The Bible says in Colossians 3:3 & 4, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in Yahweh, God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” See Galatians 2:20 & Ephesians 2:6. Jesus was mocked, beaten, spit on, wrongly accused, but he humbled himself and never said a word in his own defense. Matthew chapters 26,&27 We must be dead to ourselves (flesh), then when something does come against us, we will not let it affect us. If we are “dead,” we can not be offended. There will be many who come against us, especially since we are endeavoring to follow Yahweh. Jesus finished (John 19:30) everything on the stake; our bodily and mental healing, our sins wiped away, emotions healed. Isaiah 53:3,4,5 & 1Peter 2:24 Finished means it is done; complete! Nothing else needs to be done, except for us to receive it, all. “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs23:7 Do you believe that your heart needs more healing. Could there be hurts hiding in the chambers of the heart that have not been opened to Jesus for healing? Does this mean that Jesus did not do a finished work on the stake? Because we can be subject to the devil’s lies, there could be areas that need to be explored. Our actions follow what we believe! Why not just believe and receive that Jesus healed our hearts (along with everything else) on the stake, and walk in it. Otherwise, we will be running to and fro searching for help from other men when the Man Christ Jesus has already healed us; spirit, soul, and body. Pride is very hard to discover, but if we will humble ourselves, and know that anyone of us can be susceptible to pride! Pride is a spirit just as fear is a spirit. 2Timothy1:7. One more thing: “Not everyone that Yah (God) uses stands on a platform behind a pulpit!” And none of us are perfect in ourselves; only Jesus is perfect. We all make mistakes; some big; some small! When we see Him, we will be like Him and know all things. 1John 3:2 This is faith cabin saying bye for now. You are blessed more than you can ask or think according to the power that works in you. Believe it and live it. Love and smiles.
