BLOG 45 YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY

BLOG 45                          YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY

Jesus said you can have what you SAY if you BELIEVE it in your heart. See Mark 11:23. He is talking about believing in your soul here.  The will, mind, and emotions make up a person’s soul. The word heart in this scripture is speaking about believing with a person’s mind and will. Jesus was talking to His disciples in this verse and they were not born again, because Jesus had not gone to the cross.  If this great power was given to men who were not yet born of the Spirit of God; how much more power do the sons of God possess when they are born from above by the Spirit of God. At this time, this was not a born again spirit of faith. Jesus said you can have what you say if you believe. You are to believe in the power of your words and release your faith by speaking. God told you how to get faith in Romans 10:17.  You can not believe and have faith without hearing the Word.  The Word of God is the foundation of your faith.  What you say, should be your faith speaking.

Faith grows as you meditate in God’s word and it will produce a corresponding action. Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17 Jesus said you only need faith as the size of a grain of mustard seed. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus’ disciples could not cure a man’s son who was a lunatic. Jesus rebuked the devil and the child was cured. His disciples asked Him, why could we not cast the devil out?  “And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief; if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Jesus told the disciples that unbelief such as this only comes out by prayer and fasting.   If your faith does not produce an action in you then it is not true faith. It is just  mental assent!  Only believers in the Word of God can experience the results of true faith.
You are to speak your faith; this is how it is released. It has to be in your heart and in your mouth. “But what says it? The word is near thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach.” Romans 10:8 If you really believe God’s word, you will confess it.
You are imitating your Heavenly Father when you speak His Word by faith. He backs His Word up when it is spoken in faith. He watches over His Word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12 His Word never returns void…..Isaiah 55:11 ” Forever O Lord, thy word settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89 …”The word of the Lord endures forever.” 1Peter 1:25
God puts desires in your heart. This is what you follow; your heart, not your head. This is the inner witness of the Holy Spirit gently guiding you. You can not do what you want to and expect God to bless it. It just does not work that way. You have to abide by His Word. Jesus tells us in John 15:7, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.”
You can not pick and choose what you want to believe of God’s words. Why did He give us His Word? His Word are His commandments and are His statures that you are to live by. His word is suppose to be the authority in your life–the final authority.
You can have what you say if you believe it in your heart and speak it out of your mouth. If a person really believes something, or hopes for something from God, he will speak it out of his mouth!
God wants to teach His children to be obedient. When they are obedient, He can bless them. This is the reason that He has given them His Word. He desires to protect His family, and to prosper them, but He can not if they are not obedient to His Word. God knows what is best for his children.. He does not force them to obey; He gives them free will.
The Word of God is so mighty and great that you are told in Mark 11:23 that you could say to the mountain to be removed and to be cast into the sea and it would obey you if you do not doubt in your heart, but shall believe that those things which you say shall come to pass, you shall have whatsoever you say.(my paraphrase) Jesus is saying to you that you can have what you say! But you are saying “what you have!” This limits God!
You are thinking, how can I limit the Almighty God? You are limiting Him by your words! It is true because He has blessed you with free will and authority in the earth. He knows what is good for you, but He does not force you to choose His way of doing. You will have what you say so you had better make sure that your words line up with His.
When a believer speaks God’s Word, God backs it up with His power. In Mark 11:13 & 14, Jesus cursed the fig tree because it didn’t have any figs on it, although it was not the season for figs. He was demonstrating to His followers (and to His disciples) that He has given them authority in the earth to speak to literal things.
You can speak to sickness and disease and to poverty because Jesus has already come and died on the cross to give you life and life more abundantly. John 10:10  It was all already done.  Past tense!  He does not have to come and redo the cross. It was accomplished once and for all.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to my Father.” As I was reading in John 14:12 the other day, I noticed that the first He was capitalized and it was not at the beginning of the sentence. I thought, is this meaning God the Father? This means that the translators saw in the Hebrew, or Greek that it referred to God.  God does believe on Jesus and I do believe this is what the verse is saying. God performs the works that you believe Jesus for.
If God’s people could only get a revelation of just how powerful His words are coming out of their mouth; they would never speak anything else! He backs His Word up by His very own power! In Matthew 12:37, we are told that we will be justified, or condemned by our words. Serious huh?
He up holds every thing by the Word of His power. See Hebrews 1:3. This is how He made the world and everything in it and how it continues.
“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands.” “Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things.” This is found in Acts 17:24 & 25.
“For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; …. for we are also His offspring.” Acts 17:28
As God’s child, you have been created in His very own image and likeness. You also were given dominion in Genesis 1:28. The only true, living, God, (and when born again from above), He is your Father. Just meditate on those words for awhile and let it sink into your mind.
He prepared the world and everything in it for His creation. In six days, He had completed all things. You are the ultimate of His creation. You are the apple of His eye. What other being has these qualities, or qualifications? There is none!
You can be sure and speak what you want as long as it is already provided in His Word. You can know that you possess divine health. Jesus provided it for you on the cross. He suffered on the cross so that you would not have to suffer. Why would you want to suffer for something that has already been provided for you? You can have prosperity because in 2 Corinthians 8:9, you are told, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.” Salvation supplies all your needs: Wholeness, soundness, completeness, and preservation. The Sozo life includes all things that you will ever need.
You CAN have what you SAY if you BELIEVE it in your heart and SPEAK it out of your mouth. You are to take your Heavenly Father at His Word and act on it. In James, it says that “faith without works is dead.”
Being obedient to God’s word holds many blessings for you, but there is one primary condition. You must believe and receive His Word. The Word of God is Jesus in flesh. In Revelation 19:13, His name is the Word of God.
Many are familiar with John 1:1. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” God’s Word is supernatural! See Hebrews 4:12. Jesus said, My Words are spirit and they are life. John 6:63
The reason that you can be so bold and speak the desires that He has put in your heart is because He is living in you by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is your boldness and He has provided all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
When you do ask according to His Word you know that you are asking in line with His will. If what you are asking for is by His Word, then you can be confident in Him that He hears you and you will have what you are believing for. 1 John 5:14,15  You notice that I said, “believing for?” You must believe first before you will receive. That is the all important requisite. Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.” You believe first before you will see it in the natural, physical realm. You receive it done by faith. We know how to ask by the rhema Word that Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts.
Spending time in God’s Word, will cause your faith to increase. Studying the scriptures will show you who God is and will show you His true character. Jesus said,.. “He that has seen Me, has seen the Father”… John 14:9
I am repeating myself so you will really take hold of the truth that God has set forth in His Word. You do not have to beg God to do anything. Everything is complete in Christ. He is pleased when His children believe Him and operate in His faith.  Everything that is negative, spoken or written is contrary to God’s Word.
Just base your prayers and requests on the Word of God and believe you receive when you pray or whenever you speak your desire. Remember that when you pray if you truly believe, you do not have to ask again (the exception being the salvation of another, because their unbelief can cancel your prayer).
Believing when you pray should not be hard, but it seems like it is for some. God is not a man that should lie. If He says that “you can have what you say” then He means just that. Take Him at His Word.

This is Faith Cabin saying bye for now. Smiles, blessings, and love are sent to you by faith.
