BLOG 35 EMPTY CHATTER

Blog 35                                       Empty  Chatter

Words that are empty are words that are void of power.  Only God’s word contains power.  Creative power!
Empty chatter doesn’t move mountains.  We have to aim our words like arrows at the target.  Our words must be in agreement with God and His word.  Jesus tells us in Mark 11:23, that we can speak to the mountain and tell it to be removed and cast into the sea and if we do not doubt in our heart, but believe the things we say, it will come to pass.  We can have what so ever we say.(paraphrased)  This is the God kind of faith.  We are told to have God’s kind of faith and if it were impossible, Jesus would not have said this in Mark 11:22.  “Jesus tells us that we can have what we say, but we are saying what we have.”
Words of empty chatter are a distraction–a big one!  Empty chatter are idle words.  Idle words do not work because they are contrary to God’s word.   There is no life in them.  Only God’s word has life in it, super-natural life and light!  In Hebrews 4:12, we read, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” By God’s word, we are able to judge the difference between the soul and the spirit.  His word is alive and enables one to perceive the thoughts and desires of the heart.
Also in Hebrews chapter one, it reads in verse three that Jesus is upholding all things by the word of His power.
The devil doesn’t want anyone speaking the scriptures in the Bible because he knows this is where the power lies.  This is the reason he works to keep people distracted with various other things, to keep their minds off God’s powerful word.  He was defeated by the Word, “Jesus.”  He doesn’t mind if our words are empty and useless, in fact he rather enjoys it.   In Matthew 4:4, we are shown how Jesus handled satan, the tempter.  After Jesus had fasted forty days and forty nights, the scripture says,” He was afterward an hungered.”  Satan tried to tempt Jesus to turn the stones into bread, saying, “If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.”  Jesus said, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”  We should listen to what Jesus said. if He spoke only God’s word to the enemy then so should we.
God’s word can change people’s minds and hearts making a new man because of it’s power.   In order for this to happen, he must keep his mind renewed to the Word of God.
Talking aimlessly about subjects that don’t really matter in the scheme of life is called empty chatter.  We should want our words to cut through the lies of satan and set people free from his hold.
Think about what you are about to say before you say it and make your words really count by speaking God’s word.
The greatest power in the world is God’s word because He spoke the world into existence by them.  He said in Genesis 0ne, “Let there be light and there was light.”
In Americas’ early history, school children were taught from the Bible.  They were taught the Bible scriptures.  Now they are not allowed to speak of the Bible!  They aren’t being taught how to read.  I was told by a teacher that children’s emotions and feelings are more important than spelling something right.  We were taught reading, writing, and good old fashioned arithmetic. (2 + 2 =4)  They have messed up math and made it very confusing.  If a young person doesn’t learn to spell correctly at first, he will not be able to spell.  The teacher told me that writing essays about their feelings was more valuable and that they would audit the writings later.  This is very wrong!  I believe our enemy is behind all of this because he knows that if no one can read they will not be able to read the Bible.  I taught 5th grade many years ago and children weren’t able to read simple words even back then.  They are graduating from high school unable to read.  There is no interest in reading if one can not read!
The world is upside down, calling evil good and good evil.  People are being destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6  The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
The world is being run by idiots.  The Bible says, “Men professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” Romans 1:22
Those who do not know the word of God can be deceived.  Everything is to be judged by God’s word.  This is our protection; we must know His word.  How do you know whether or not someone is telling you the truth?  Jesus said, “Thy word is truth.” John 17:17  Satan knows no truth now, only deception.  He twists facts to deceive.
Jesus is the living Word of God. In John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  God is a good God and He desires for His children to know the truth because the truth is what will make a person free. John 8:32  He sent His only begotten Son to earth to die on a cross to save mankind.  Why wouldn’t He freely give us all things. Romans 8:32  He tells us in Matthew 6:33, “But seek you first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” ( everything that is needed for life)  Also in 2 Peter 1:3, “According to His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue.” (through the knowledge of Him, these things come)

Someone said to me one time, “Is that all you know?”  “Is that all you can say?”  Why would I want or need to say anything other than the word of God when this is where the real power lies?  If you know anything better,,,tell me!  I know there is nothing better nor more powerful; this is why I choose to speak only God’s word.  The reason I know this is because I have personal experiences of seeing things changed including both physical and situations (also circumstances).   Scripture says,” Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. Prov 18:21.  “Who so keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles” Prov 21:23   See Matthew 12:36.  “But I tell you, on the day of judgement men will have to give account for every idle ( inoperative, nonworking ) word they speak.”  (Amplified Bible)   Also, in  verse 37, Jesus says, “For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned .”  You could say it like this: we will be acquitted by speaking God’s words and we will be sentenced by speaking empty chatter and idle words.  This is serious to our Heavenly Father.  It should be very serious to us!
Empty chatter is what the world speaks and the world is void of power.  Change your way of talking and be followers of God as His dear children. Ephesians 5:1  To change your talking, you must meditate in the scriptures and change your way of thinking first.

This is Faith Cabin saying bye for now.  Be blessed, love and smiles.
