We Are Already Blessed Blog 33

BLOG  33           WE ARE ALREADY BLESSED
God tells us in Ephesians 1:3, that He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  Also in 2 Peter 1:3, we are told that He has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness.  Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from our Heavenly Father we are told in James 1:17(paraphrased).  Still, there are those who keep begging God to bless them!  They must have the revelation that they are already blessed and have everything because that is what the word of God tells us.  Unbelief and doubt can not be blessed.  That is how God’s word works.  There are conditions to His blessings.  He is not sitting in heaven aiming arrows down at us if we don’t obey His word, but by faith is the only way it works.   Has blessed is past tense!
We have been given wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption, prosperity, and divine health.  Read in 1Corinthians 1:30.  In Psalms 107:20, God says He sent His word (Jesus) to heal us and to save us from our destruction.   In other words, a complete work was accomplished by Christ at the cross.  Nothing was done halfway!  God doesn’t do anything halfway!  He does require that we, by faith, believe and act on what He shows us in His word.  His word is His will for His children.  In fact, it is His will for all who will believe Him.
So don’t beg God to heal you of a disease or a sickness!  He says in 1Peter 2:24, “By His stripes we were healed.”   Our healing is on going.  Jesus died once; he doesn’t have to die again!  We have to believe and receive what he finished at the cross. (John 19:30)   In 2 Corinthians 8:9, it is written that “Jesus became poor that in His poverty we might become rich” (paraphrased).  God loves us so much that He has supplied all our needs and we are complete in Christ. ( Philippians 4:19 ,Colossians 2:10)   Also we are one with Him in spirit. (1Corinthians 6:17)  What more could He do?
Only faith pleases God because He has already done all there is to do.  When we get in agreement with His word, it has to come to pass.  As we confess His word, it never returns void. (Isaiah 55:11)  It is God’s grace.  It’s grace that we do not deserve, but are freely given when we believe and act in faith.
God looks on the heart.  He knows whether or not we believe in our hearts’.  Our spirits know also.  It isn’t faith in a person’s mind; it is faith in their heart.  As we meditate in the word of God, we grow in faith and will become fully persuaded that He will do what He says He will.  We believe it is finished when we pray because we are praying in faith by the word of God.
We must have revelation by the Holy Spirit of His word.  Holy Spirit brings the truth to us.   Jesus said, “It is the spirit that quickens, the flesh profits nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” God’s word is alive and it works supernaturally.
God worked for six days and rested on the seventh because He was finished.  So EVERYTHING has been done in Christ.  When we pray is not when He answers.  It all has been done in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world.  When we believe and pray, we are bringing our desires into the physical realm.  “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hears us, what so ever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” (1John 5:14 & 15)  In John 15:7, Jesus tells us, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.”  Jesus’ words must remain in you.
It is the power of God that gives us all things.  Thank you Heavenly Father for what you did for us in Jesus on the cross.  If God gave us His only Son, why wouldn’t He freely give us all things. In Romans 8:32 it is written.  “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”   Put your trust in God- trust Him and have faith.  Trust Him in advance of seeing your prayer answered in the natural realm.  Believing you receive when you pray is what causes the manifestation to come. (Mark 11:24)   It does not matter what it looks like.  It is done!   You must see with the eye of faith into the spiritual realm.   God’s word is spiritual.  2Corinthians 4:18, says, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are ETERNAL.”
People who are constantly asking God in prayer to do something that He has already done are praying wrongly.  That means they are in doubt.  We are to learn His word and then pray in faith believing we receive when we pray.  Thanking  and praising Him, because you do believe.  Do not ask again, when you have prayed according to His will.  Just praise Him every day, that you have it.  Why would you pray and ask again if you believed you received when you first prayed?
Why do you believe everyone and everything that they tell you?   Is it because you see them and you can not see God because He is a Spirit?  As you read God’s word you will be able to discern Holy Spirit’s voice.  He lives on the inside of the believer and leads and guides him to all truth.  Our Father can not lie!  Satan is the one who lies and deceives.  Being unforgiving and in strife will keep God’s blessings from coming also because it opens the door for satan to steal from us.  Walking in love and hope by faith is the answer.  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1, Faith is the substance and evidence that our hope is alive.  Keeping your mind renewed to God’s word helps.
My attitude is that if God can’t do it for me, then no one or nothing can!  I know in my heart that He has already blessed me and as I keep my words lined up in agreement with His, I will receive what I have asked Him for.  I just keep praising Him because He is worthy.  Being humble is to believe what God says.
It is His will that you be healed.  Jesus healed everyone who came to Him for healing.  “Be it done unto you according to your faith,” He told them.   It says in Matthew 13:58, He could do no mighty works in His own home town because of their unbelief.  Knowing that Jesus was God in the flesh, He still could do no mighty works because of their unbelief!  Jesus did every miracle and healing as a man; showing us that all things are possible to him that believes, and all things are possible with God.  God gives us free will and He gave us His word.  Believing is the easy part.  He did the hard part, dying on the cross.
There are a lot of people who have a difficult time believing for their healing.  If Jesus defeated everything at the cross, and He did; everything that can come against us has been killed at the cross.  When born again, we are buried with Christ and have been raised with Him.  If symptoms come against a believer, they are counterfeit.  They have to be because Jesus defeated all things at the cross.  But if we get in fear, then the enemy has the right to bring the symptoms on us.  God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind. (2Timothy1:7)  Fear is from satan.  It shows that you are not believing and trusting God.  He is a big God.  Don’t make your problem bigger than He is!  Everything has been defeated at the cross: sickness, disease, poverty, lack, and sin.  “We over come him (satan) by the blood of the lamb and by the word of out testimony.” (Revelation 12:11)   Read this in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore-mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.”  This is very serious!  Fear and unbelief is looked on by God just as evil as murder and all the rest.
Study God’s word to settle it in your heart what all He has done for the believer.  Remember the devil comes immediately to steal the word. (Mark 4)  He will try to get you in unbelief, but you have to resist.  Refuse the symptoms, don’t take them!  Because they don’t belong to you!  They are the devil’s.  Continue to praise God over your situation believing you have already received.  The symptoms have to go!   But do not ignore the symptoms since there is no power in ignoring them.  The power is in the word of God.
The devil never has to sleep, nor does he tire; so he can continue putting pressure on you.  You have to hold on longer than he does.  You already have everything that God has promised.  As you continue, satan will eventually get the message that you are solid in your belief.  This is how we receive all things from our Heavenly Father.
You will believe something!  Why not believe God and His word.  It is a walk of faith; a life of faith.

This is Faith Cabin saying bye for now.  Love, Smiles and Blessings
