Unforgiving means: not forgot; not lost to memory, not pardoned, not forgiven, not disposed to overlook or pardon offenses.

In Matthew 5:44, says “But I say unto you , Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you. and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”  v45, “That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven.”
I know what you are thinking, “How can I love someone who hates me and curses me.”  How can I forgive them?  But you can; you do it by faith.  A born again person has the Spirit of God on the inside.  Along with the gifts of the spirit, and faith and love are two of them.  See Galatians 5:22 & 23.  We are not to walk by our feelings and emotions.  God does give us feelings, but they are not to control us.  We are controlled by our love for God, and His word.
There is power in love because God is love, and love never fails.  We humble ourselves and look at what Jesus did….”For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross.” Hebrews 12:3   How could Jesus endure all the pain and shame?  Only one way, He saw you and me being reconciled back to God.  He knows how much God loves His children, and just how much He wanted a family.
While hanging on the tree, He said, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.”  If Jesus could ask for forgiveness for the ones who crucified Him; then don’t you think you could forgive those who hurt you?   Having an unforgiving heart towards another person puts one into a prison, and makes him a slave.  It does not hurt the one who is  the object of the unforgiving person.
We have a new nature when we are born again from above.  We have our Father’s nature. We are supposed to be dead to ourselves, and not be offended by what others do.  As it says in 1 Corinthians 13, “Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not, is not puffed up, does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil, rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never fails.
Jesus tells us in Matthew, that if we do not forgive others their transgressions, our Father who is in heaven will not forgive us.  Jesus tells us that we have to forgive seven times seventy.  In other words, we always have to forgive no matter the situation.  Matthew 18:21,22
When we do not forgive  someone, it causes a root of bitterness to form in a person’s  heart.  How can one relate to Abba Father who is love; if they have been unforgiving in their heart.  They can not!
Being unable to forgive, starts in the heart, and it defiles the person because it keeps that person from really loving God.  How can a person say he loves God whom he doesn’t see and, yet not love someone whom he does see?   It is whatever that comes out of the heart of man that defiles him.  If you hate your brother, you have already committed murder in your heart.  Same, if you lust after a man or a woman in your heart; you have already committed adultery.
It is not what a person eats that defiles them, because the Bible says it empties out of the stomach in the dross.  It is what comes out of the heart of man that defiles him.  Who we really are is who we are in our heart.  Our true self; what we really believe, and know.  We are changed on the inside first, and then our outside is changed.  God cares about a person’s character.  A person’s character is what he does when no one is looking!  I heard someone say this before, and I believe it is true.
“While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us all.”  Romans 5:8
We were forgiven of much–very much by our heavenly Father.  We were pardoned of all our offenses.
In Ephesians 4:32, reads, “And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.”
There is much power in love because God is love, and when we respond in love when others are being ugly to us we are overcoming evil.  We overcome evil with good.  Our lives are dead, and we are hid in Christ.  He is our life.  Colossians 3:3
We live our lives through Him, and He lives His life through us.  How awesome is that!   It is who He is that is in us that makes us who we are in Him.
So remember, the next time that someone does an injustice to you; you are dead and hid in Christ.  You do not retaliate the same, just smile, and by faith draw out the love that God has shed abroad in your heart. Romans 5:5
Love covers a multitude of sins.  You will experience the power of love like never before.  God’s love will keep you walking the straight and narrow path.
Those of you that don’t know God are really missing out.  He desires for all to come to repentance and be saved.  Receive what Jesus did on the cross and be saved now.  You will never regret it.  It is easy to do.  Let Him change your heart.   Then find someone to disciple you so you won’t fall away.

This is Faith Cabin saying bye for now.  Love, Blessings, and Smiles.
