God’s Mighty Word

             God’s Mighty Word

God exalts his word above his name. That is how vital his word is. His word
is Jesus. “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and
the word was God.” Jesus, the Word is God!! (John1:1) Jesus is the living
Word of God. In Revelations (last book of the Bible) it reads that Jesus’
name is “the Word of God”. That is his name “the Word of God,”
God’s Word is unstoppable—–it never returns void. (Isaiah 55:11) His
Word is forever settled in heaven. (Psalms119:89)and in Jeremiah (1:12)
“For I will watch over my word to bring it to pass”
When we speak His Word, he watches over it to fulfill it.
Can you not see how very valuable it is for us (his children) to speak only
 his Word?
His angels only hearken (listen) to the voice of his Word.(Psalms103:20)
Angels are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be
heirs of salvation.(Hebrews1:14) The children of God will only be helped and
rescued by angels, if they speak God’s Word. Beloved, this is serious! One
could be in a very dangerous situation, about to be rescued by an angel and
utter a word that is contrary to God’s word. The angel on assignment will
immediately stop and leave. That person will have to face the consequences
 alone!
We are to keep our mind renewed to God’s Word continuously. Keep our
mouths filled with his Word!
There is power in his Word to move mountains. (Mark11:23).  Remember,
God is watching (angels too) over the words that we speak.
In Matthew12:34–37) For by the words we speak we will be justified or
we will be condemned. We will give an account of every idle word spoken at
judgement. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart will bring forth
good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasures brings forth evil things.
For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks!!
So as you can see, how potent our very words are. They are going out
into the atmosphere forever. They can either bring life, or they can bring
death. It says in Proverbs that “death and life are in the power of the tongue.
“We are to be very sober about the words that we let out of our mouth gate.
We are to speak God’s Word in agreement with him. He never does anything
excepts he speaks it first. Read in Genesis 1, how he spoke everything into
existence by the words of his mouth. We actually have that God given ability
on the inside of our spirits. Jesus said in Mark (11:23) that we could speak
to the mountain and tell it to be removed and to be cast into the sea; and
not doubt in our hearts, but believe that those things we say shall come to pass
, we shall have what so ever we say. There are those who believe that Jesus
wasn’t speaking of a literal mountain; but just before this account,
Jesus spoke to a fig tree. A real growing fig tree! It says he(meaning
Jesus) answered the tree and cursed it for not having any figs growing on it.
It says later as they passed back by the fig tree it had dried up at the roots.
Jesus told his disciples to have faith in God. This means we are to have the
God kind of faith.
In Psalms 107:20, He sent his Word and healed us and saved us from our
destruction. He sent Jesus, his Word to save us and to heal us.Saved and healed
have the same meaning in the Greek.
Satan, our enemy want us to speak anything, but God’s Word. He knows
how powerful the Word of God is. Jesus over came Satan in the wilderness
by voicing God’s Word only. Do you remember? Satan tried to tempt Jesus
after Jesus had fasted for forty days. He was an hungered the Bible says.
Satan said “if you really are the Son of God, make these stones turn to bread.”
Jesus replied “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that
proceeds out of the mouth of God.” And Jesus is that Word that
 comes out of God’s mouth.
That is the reason why it is so powerful!
We are speaking Jesus when we voice God’s Word.
In Romans10:8,9,10,13, “But what SAITH it? The word is nigh thee,
even in thy MOUTH, and in thy heart; that is the word of faith, that we preach; that
if thou shall confess with thy MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For
with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH confession
is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved
