BLOG 117 Destiny

THINK ABOUT THIS: Other people’s opinions do not change our destiny, but it’s God’s Word that does. God’s Word is His opinion-it’s His thoughts and desires, and His laws, statues, and judgements. Our destiny is Yah’s will. We must heed His Word, and study to bring His will to pass. 2 Timothy 3:16,17 The devil is the culprit that moves in deception to change someone’s destiny. 2Corinthians 2:11 He’s very cunning with his lies, and disguises himself as an angel of light. 2Corinthians11:14 We must remember how treacherous he is. He comes for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. John 10:10 He divides families with his lies; he twists conversations and thoughts. He is very wicked. We are no match for his evil. That’s why the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil, and defeat him on the stake. 1John 3:8, Colossians 2:15 We don’t have to be in the center of attention; we can go quietly about our business of doing His business knowing as we are obedient, in time Yahweh God will use us. He says He will give us the desires of our heart if we delight ourselves in Him. Psalm 37:4 We can be confident in His faithfulness. “ Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5 If we are not watchful and humble, pride can slowly creep in! Lucifer was filled with pride; it’s what brought him down out of heaven, away from the most marvelous job that Yahweh God had blessed him with! It made him satan, the evil one. Since then, he has the ability to deceive people by mimicking Yah’s voice. We will believe that we are following Yah’s will when in fact, we will be following the devil’s plan of deception. If one continues down that path, they will lose their way, and not know the truth. John 8:32 Everyone needs input from others; it’s a safety device. This is what we are told in Proverbs 11:14. We should measure other people’s words by the scriptures. “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” Psalms 36:9 If it isn’t scriptural, it’s wrong. They need to be judged by the Law, Psalms, and the Words of the Prophets. Remember, all things we deal with in this life are spirits: spirit of fear, spirit of infirmity, lying spirits, spirit of pride; they are all demons that we have been given dominion over. Genesis 1:26

Blog 116 People Say What They Believe

THINK ABOUT THIS:

People are saying whatever they BELIEVE is the truth, but Yahweh’s Word is the “REAL” truth. There’s only one truth, and it’s His Word. John 17:17 Jesus is the WAY. the TRUTH, and the LIFE. John 14:6 Are we guilty of believing what we say more than what Yah’s Word says? When we talk about sickness, instead of talking about our healing, are we in agreement with the devil? One gives Satan his power by speaking what doctors and others say. Ordinary people do not know what Yahweh God knows. He knows the end from the beginning. Are they putting themselves in line with the world’s way of thinking? If a person is having symptoms, they should not immediately begin thinking it’s something bad. Instead, the symptoms should be told to go away, and not allowed to stay. There is authority to do this. Gen 1:26  The more times that a person speaks to the body, in faith, the more it will begin to listen and obey. Hebrews 11:1 It takes awhile, but one must be consistent. Also, when praying for an issue, is when it’s received done-no matter what the situation looks like. Mark 11:24 Waiting to see if prayer worked before believing is unbelief. One believes first. This is great faith. Yah’s Word is trusted-it’s the same as He is. John 1:1 The confidence is in Him that if any thing is asked according to His will, one know He hears. 1John 5:14,15 His Word and His will are the same; it’s His desire. Because every thing starts with thoughts, the mind must be renewed with Yah’s Word. Romans 12:2 Yahweh God is limited by people’s unbelief and speaking about it. Yah does not have to be asked to heal; He has already healed those who are in Christ.1Peter 2:24 One speaks to the mountain in Jesus’ name and tells sickness and disease to die. Believing comes before saying. Mark 11:23

BLOG 115 DANGER-PRIDE

THINK ABOUT THIS:

Pride prevents one from hearing Yahweh God’s voice. Jesus is God’s voice; He is the Word of Yahweh God. John 1:1 He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. John 14:6 Pride will keep one from obeying Jesus, “who is the TRUTH.”  Pride caused Satan to fall, so his number one deception is pride. Isaiah 12:12-16 If the devil can deceive the whole world, he can surely fool us. Because of pride, a person can think that they are hearing Yah’s voice, but it is, in fact, the devil’s voice they are listening to. Pride enables Satan to get ahold on a person’s mind. He is very cunning and sly, and can imitate Yah’s voice to make a person think that it is God. 2Corinthians 11:14 Pride is very hard to discern; its sneaky! No matter how old we get, or how long we have been a Christian, there are those who may know more, have studied longer, and who Yah is using to bring the truth and His will in the earth. It does not matter how much we think we know. It may be wise to relearn some very important facts in the Bible. We are to just humble ourselves and listen. “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6 When Yah shows us something we did not know, we are blessed. We are not to make a judgement before a matter is studied out. Proverbs 18:13 We will save ourselves a lot of trouble and heartache. The Bible says “Pride comes before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18 Sometimes, it’s thought that one knows best because of their own learning, and understanding when Yah is trying to reveal the truth. It’s all about “letting Yahweh be God,” and not putting Him in any particular box. A person is unaware that they are in pride because it blinds them to the truth. This is a very dangerous place to be. The answer is humility-humbling oneself. Yah will exalt them at the proper time when they humble themselves first. 1Peter 5:6

Pride is very dangerous! Think about the position that Satan, then Lucifer, had with Yahweh God, and because of his pride, he tried to lift himself above God. That’s what pride does. Lucifer had a high position with God, above the other angelic host. He was very beautiful with amazing precious stones on his chest, and timbrels to play music. Yah blessed him with talent and leadership. A person is lifting their self up above God: Their knowledge, their own learning, their proof of the happenings of miracles, healings, etc. That’s why it’s so dangerous. When a person refuses to listen to anyone-that’s very bad. Yahweh God is a Spirit-He talks through His people. He does not talk to the mind. Holy Spirit speaks to our spirit and brings truth from Yah to our minds. We must humble ourselves and listen, and be aware that we have an enemy who is trying to destroy us. Because of his beauty, knowledge, and talents, Lucifer THOUGHT that he could overthrow Yahweh God and take over His kingdom. We know what happened to him-he became Satan, and was thrown out of heaven. Knowledge puffs up–makes proud! 1Corinthians 8:1  With pride, one is lifting himself up above Yahweh God because of his own accomplishments. They imagine that they are doing God’s will. This causes them not to listen, beliving that others are attempting to stop them and to manipulate them to their way of thinking. But the truth is that Yah is desiring for that person to be set free from the lies of Satan. The scripture says that love is wise and pride is deceitful.  1 Corinthians 8:1

Knowing that this could affect anyone, we should always come against the spirit of pride.

BLOG 114 MOSES’ BODY

BLOG 114      MOSES’ BODY

THINK ABOUT THIS:  How many have heard that Satan was fighting Michael, the archangel, over Moses’ body written in the book of Jude . What would be the point? Why would Satan want Moses’ body? Some speculate saying because one of the witnesses in the book of Revelations could be Moses. In Jude 9, we are told about an important history concerning National Israel. Jude is comparing two bodies of believers. The first body is those who are preserved and sanctified in Jesus the Christ, the congregation, or body of New Testament Christians and secondly the body of believers that were saved out of the land of Egypt.  The “body”of Moses was the congregational body of National Israel.
The name Michael was not a name in the Hebrew, but a title from three Hebrew words that mean “who is like God.” The term archangel is the Greek term “arch-angels” And it simply means “chief messenger.” Strongs concordance list it #743 & 732. The man called out by God to be His “Chief messenger,” the archangel Michael in the days when he delivered Israel out of Egypt, was none other than Moses. He was the chief messenger between God almighty and Israel. Moses was like God to Israel (Michael-“Who is like God.”). The children of Israel did not want to deal with God. They wanted Moses to deal with God for them. We learn of Moses’ duties as the divine mediator in Exodus 18:19-22.    We must have the knowledge that the Bible is written in symbolic language, prophetic language (language of the prophets), allegories, and metaphoric language. It cannot always be read and taken as literally. Words that we believe mean one thing, actually mean something else. For example: Clouds, for instance, can often mean judgement or  witnesses. Heb 12:1 So, as you see that the Bible cannot always be taken literally. You must know what type of literature has been used by the author. Also understand the historical context and whether it is relevant to us in our age. In Joseph’s (Jacob’s second to youngest son) had a dream in which the sun was depicted as his father, the moon as his mother, and the stars as the twelve brothers. Jacob had ten sons by Leah and two by Rachel (Joseph & Benjamin). The twelve sons (stars) represent the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph was sold to slave traders by his older brothers , because they were jealous of him, and was sent to Egypt. After a time He became Pharaoh’s right hand man.

BLOG 113 Kingdom First

THINK ABOUT THIS:
“But seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33   SEEK: AIM AT AND STRIVE AFTER FIRST OF ALL Yahweh God’s kingdom and His righteousness.  Righteousness is Yahweh’s way of doing and being right. The only way to be in right with Yahweh God is to believe on His Son, Jesus, repent of sin, and to receive His forgiveness. Jesus is saying that seeking the kingdom of God is first priority. The kingdom of God comes on the inside of the believer; we live out of the kingdom, and enforce His kingdom in the earth. As Yahweh God’s children, this is our responsibility. See John 3.
Jesus is our first love, and other things come and try to take us away. Distractions will always do that! We are not to worry about tomorrow; we are to think on the kingdom, and not worry about material things. Matt.6:34 We seek Him first; we know our needs are supplied because the Word says so in Philippians 4:19.
Jesus said, It’s hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew19:23,24), because his riches come first. 2Peter 1:3 says, “We have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness, and blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 We are told in Proverbs 23:5, “Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.” And in 1Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted (were greedy about) after, they have erred (turned away)from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” And  in Verse 17, “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trusts in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.” When people are rich, they do not need Yahweh God.  Our heart has been made righteous (in right standing with God because of Jesus). For this reason, a righteous heart does not serve money. Jesus equates love of money with unrighteousness mammon. Money must be handled carefully and used wisely lest desire for it seduce (draw away) us from true devotion to God.
Remember the  heart follows the treasures. Where your treasure is there are also is your heart. Matthew 6:19-21 Put your treasures where you want your life to be. We are to avoid loving our personal possessions. We should sell our many possessions because they are distractions, and give the money to the poor, or to the Lord’s work.
In Matthew 19:16-22, The young man that came to Jesus and asked,” what he could do to have eternal life, and Jesus told him to keep the commandments, and to sell all that he had, give to the poor, and to come follow me.”  First, the young man said that he had kept all the commandments since his youth! We know that the commandments cannot be kept. That is why Jesus had to come and fulfill the law! The Scripture says, that the man went away sad because he had great possessions. We know that we must have money to live on because it’s our medium of exchange. When we purchase goods, they surely do not want to receive a goat or a sheep for payment! Our loyalty is to our Lord and Savior, Jesus, not to possessing more THINGS!
The gospel is not for material gain. Some teach that gain is godliness! The Scripture says,  withdraw thyself from such  “But godliness with contentment is great gain.” 1Timothy 5,6 There are many whose main focus is teaching about prosperity! They have erred in their hearts by being loyal to their possessions and money, and this allows the devil to blind them to the truth. It’s the truth that sets us free.  John 8:32

Blog 112 HEALING POWER

THINK ABOUT THIS:

Because I am a believer, and a recipient of Yahweh God’s healing power, I want to share this testimony. After many years of suffering, I learned of Yahweh God’s healing power. Doctors told me there was no cure for the horrible, rare, disease that had attacked my body. I probably would not be here now if I had believed the evil report. Doctors do not know about the spiritual aspect of a person; they only deal with the body. Every word that is contrary to the Word of Yahweh God is considered evil.Matthew 12:36,37 Yahweh’s Word is above and greater (like Him) than our words. In fact, He is the same as His Word. See John 1:1. Before this, I was unaware of the Bible Scriptures and that healing belonged to me.
At the time, I lwas iving in the country, and did not have cable to watch television, but during the illness, a company put cable in, and I began watching television a lot. In my constant going through the channels. I happened on a Christian program. I was amazed at what I heard because it was the most wonderful good news. I began spending hours, days and nights, listening to, and watching the different television preachers and teachers. I knew that I had to get a Bible like the one that they were using. Earlier in my life, I always wanted to read the Bible, but I was under the impression that I could not undrestand it. Many times, I would pick the Bible up and look through it, hoping that I could understand, but would put it back on the coffee table, disappointed. I was led to believe that I could not understand the Bible by wrong teaching. Truly one cannot understand the meaning of the Bible without the help of Holy Spirit. John 16:13
Finely, a Bible was bought for me, and I began reading it day and night just soaking up the scriptures. Also, I was still watching Christian television. I read what the Bible said, and I believed. The Word was such a delight to me; I was very exited. I began to think: “why should I suffer with something that Jesus has already healed?” 1Peter 2:24 “By His stripes, I am healed.” That is how Yahweh God sees His children…healed.
By faith (Hebrews 11:1), I prayed, and believed, and received that I was healed, and it seemed like instantly I began to get better. Mark 11:23,24 It’s according to what we believe in our hearts. I was totally transformed in my thinking. Romans 12:2 I knew that I was healed, and I began telling the doctors and others. Of course, they would look at me with disbelief, but I knew the truth. John 17:17 Jesus said, “Thy Word is truth,”
A little later, remembering my eye sight, I thought that if Jesus healed my body, He would surely also heal my eyes. So I prayed and received healing for my eye sight and haven’t worn glsses since that time.
I received healing by faith just believing what the Bible Scriptures told me.
We all can receive our healing just the same way that I received mine. Everybody that has an illness, can be healed just by reading and believing the Scriptures. It is a renewing of our minds that takes place as we read and reread the Word of Yahweh. This is how faith comes to believe for any thing that we need. It comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God the scripture says in Romans 10:17 It may take awhile because we really must be convinced with all our being that the Word is true and believe what it says, and receive.
My healing is maintained by faith, and I refuse to allow any symptoms to affect me by quoting the Bible scriptures. Sometimes, the symptoms may take longer to go away, but they must certainly bow their knee to God’s Word. Just don’t give up and change your confession because Yahweh God “watches over His Word to perform it, and upholds every thing by the Word of His power.” Jeremiah 1:12, Hebrews 1:3
In all these years, Jesus has been my personal doctor. I am sharing this testimony to give glory to Yahweh God, and not to condemn anyone.
Jesus said “According to your faith, be it unto you.” in Matthew 9:29.

BLOG 111 FIRST FORGIVE

THINK ABOUT THIS:

Previously, we were talking about “Speaking to the mountain” in Mark 11:23. We have been taught about speaking to the mountain (which could be any situation or problem). We have been taught this scripture over and over, but never taught that we must forgive others if we expect to receive from Yahweh God.  Jesus says that we can have what we say if we believe it in our heart and speak our belief out of our mouth. Of course our belief must line up with the Bible scriptures. See 1John 5:14,15. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” But our heart wll over rule our minds if there is any un-forgiveness. We will not have confidence to believe if there is un-forgiveness. Faith to believe and receive will not be there. Jesus tells us in Mark 11:22 to have the God kind of faith, and in verse 24, He says to believe when we pray that we receive what we have prayed for. Then, in verse 25, we are told to forgive if we have any thing against any one.  Mark 11:25,26 says our Heavenly Father will not forgive us if we do not forgive. “And when you stand praying, FORGIVE, if you have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your tresspasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your tresspasses.”  “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel (complaint) against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.” Colossians 3:13  So, we see there are conditions, and prequisites to Yahweh’s promises. His Word cannot be ignored and just do as we please, and expect to receive. Before we can believe and receive, we must not have un-forgiveness in our hearts. We forgive and cast the care of it over on Him. He is our avenger; He will take care of whatever is wrong. Yahweh God fights the battles for His children. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble.”  Psalm 46:1  We trust Yahweh God to do always what is best for all.  Jeremiah 29:11  NOT FORGIVING WILL CAUSE A HARDENED HEART!

We Must Speak

BLOG 110 WE MUST SPEAK

THINK ABOUT THIS: In Mark 11:23,
Jesus said that we could SPEAK to the mountain. “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and Be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.” But before is verse 22, Jesus said to have faith in God. I was taught that this means “have the God-kind of faith. Well, those who are “ begotten from above” have Yahweh’s Spirit in them. Romans 8:11, reads that “we, have the same Spirit in us that raised Jesus from the dead.” Therefore, we do have the God-kind of faith, and authority to speak to things. Yah’s Word is full of power and authority. Hebrews 1:3 All of Yah’s promises belong to us. 1John 5:14,15 But first, there are conditions to having what we say: we must speak and then believe it in our heart. Verse 24, Jesus says, “What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.” We speak to things all the time: the car when it won’t start, the dog when it barks too loud, the electric bill when it’s high. The mountain can be any situation or problem: Illness, pain, poverty, or whatever the case may be. Doubt and unbelief will prevent faith from working and also there will be a lack of peace. So we learn that we must believe that we receive before we pray. That too is a condition. So, why not speak to our body and other things and expect to have what we need. These things will talk to our mind. In Mark 11:12, Jesus was hungry and saw a fig tree far off, but there were no figs on it. The verse says, Jesus ANSWERED the tree and said, “No man eat fruit hereafter for ever.” Problems and things will talk to our mind. In Mark 10:27, Jesus was telling the disciples how hard it is for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God. He said, it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. The disciples were astonished, saying, “who then can be saved?” Jesus said, “With men it’s impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” We must trust Yahweh God and by faith speak to the things that are needed as Jesus tells us in Mark 11:23. Trusting in riches will lead one astray. The Word “saved” means whole, complete, the Zoa life. Shalom-nothing missing-nothing broken. We speak to problems, sickness, poverty, or whatever and tell it to go away. Jesus said the mountain will have to obey you if you believe it in your heart, doubt not, and tell it to be removed and cast into the sea. Mark 11:23 He said, you will have what you say. What we believe will determine our behavior.

BLOG 109 STAY PUT

THINK ABOUT THIS:

We are to STAY PUT when Yahweh God tells us to do something. He does not change His mind–He’s not fickle like humans. He does not change–it’s peope who change their minds!  James 1:6-8 says, “For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” A double minded man is unstable in all his ways, he shall not receive anything of the Lord.” There will be no peace and satisfaction in disobeying what Yahweh God has instructed. We act in faith knowing that what He says and does is for our best. Yahweh God’s thoughts towards us are peace, and are not of evil, to give us an expected end. See Jeremiah 29:11.

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts….and be ye thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:15,16

Are we always pulling up stakes and and leaving? Will God trust us to be about His business in the earth? He has assignments for His children, but can we be still and listen for them? In Psalm 46:10, we are told, “Be still and know that I am God.” Our attitude should be: “He must increase, I must decrease.” John 3:30 Jesus becomes more important than one’s desires. It’s necessary to stay put in one place and grow in patience and in the knowledge of the truth and wisdom through the Word and the Spirit. John 16:13 This is the only way to progress in one’s life and Yah’s kingdom. This is what Yah’s children are to be doing; bringing the knowledge of God’s kingdom to earth. Matthew 6:10

Some have been searching all their lives for fulfillment, but never find it because they are always on the move. While all along, the treasure is on the inside. Problems are created by failure to seek Yah in prayer and through the Word, and then being obedient to do what He says. “To obey is better than sacrifice” it says in 1Samuel 15:22.  Opportunities that Yahweh God has will be missed if one doesn’t take the time to listen. So stay put, and resist tihe urge to move along to another location. Many things can be lost and never recovered,

Have you heard this? “The grass is always greener on the other side.” By acting on our own whim, instead of being patient and serving Yahweh God, we miss out on His will for our lives. Satan transforms himself into an angel of light to deceive. 2 Corinthians 11:14 Many times, the voice that we are hearing and believing is God’s, is in fact, the devil’s. He is a liar and a deceiver, and he tries to keep Yah’s chilren off track.

“Eternal life is knowing God.” John 17:3 Being too busy with other things, some never get to know God’s true character. The greatest endeavor should be to know Him. “Godliness with contentment is great gain.” 1 Timothy 6:6

BLOG 108 What is Truth

THINK ABOUT THIS:      Jesus tells us the Word is truth in John 17:17. Where do we get truth from, if not from the Bible? Does it come from the television; the news media, the radio, or from the government? Can these be relied on and trusted to be true? How can one believe these sources? We have been lied to all our lives. It’s the pied piper (all over again) leading people to destruction! Without the Bible, there are no absolutes to live by. The Bible affects our very existence.  We must have the Word and the Spirit. We judge one with the other. John 3:3-8 Without the Spirit, the Bible is only a book, and can’t be deciphered correctly. Yahweh God created the world and put man in it to rule and have dominion. Genesis 1:26-28 Adam failed the first instruction from God by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and then blamed God for giving him Eve. “The woman whom thou gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” Genesis3:12  Eve was deceived by the serpent, but Adam knew better. We don’t know how long he was with God before Eve was created. Eve told God the truth: that it was the serpent that had deceived her. Genesis 3:13 In Exodus chapter 20, Yahweh God gave us the commandments (rules) to follow and to live by. But they could not be kept; they only led people to sin. Before the commandments, there was not a knowledge of sin. Galatians3:24 Yah said that he would write his laws on our hearts and that we would know him and that we would be his people, and He would be our God. Jeremiah31:31-34
